Services & Rates

I provide services in parts of Clay County, Platte County, and Jackson County, Missouri that includes the areas of North KC, Briarcliff, Gladstone, Parkville, Riverside, River Market, and Downtown KC. If you reside outside of these areas, just contact us, and we may be able to accommodate you. However, please note there may be a service area charge to account for additional travel time.

 

Meet & Greet | FREE

Complimentary meet & greet to learn about you and your cat's routine, behavior, and health. We'll use this time to introduce ourselves to your cat so they feel comfortable in our presence and to answer any questions you may have. We'll be as thorough as possible so you can trust your fur-kid in our care.

30-Minute Daily Visit | $26

Your fur-kid will be provided with fresh food & water, medication if needed, and a scooped litter box. We'll play and snuggle and send a text update with photos to let you know how your cat is doing. No extra charge for multiple cats. (AM & PM visits available)

45-Minute Daily Visit | $34

This longer visit will allow your cat to receive the extra attention they deserve. We'll provide the same duties as the 30-minute visit and include any additional household duties. (AM & PM visits available)

 

Additional House Visit or Supply Pick-Up | $20

If your pet runs out of any supplies or medications, we will pick up any items necessary to their well-being. However, please try and make sure you are stocked up with all necessities and cleaning supplies before your visit.

Vet Visit or Household Emergency | $25

To ensure any issues or concerns are promptly dealt with in case of a household emergency, there will be an additional fee which includes transportation to/from a vet or vet hospital.

Key Pick Up or Drop Off | $15

Keys are usually retained at the meet & greet for scheduled cat sitting services. However, if you need the key picked up or dropped off outside of the initial meet, a $15 fee will be added to the invoice to account for time and travel to/from your residence.

 

Holiday Fee | $15

Care provided on designated holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year’s Day - is subject to an additional $15 fee added to the invoice for that day.

Service Area Fee | $5

If you reside outside of the service areas, a $5 fee will be applied to each visit to account for additional travel time.

Booking: 

If you are a new client, please send a request through the website’s contact page and fill out all of the requested information so I can confirm availability. A two-week notice is greatly appreciated because it allows sufficient time to schedule a meet and greet. If you are an established client, you can reach out to me directly via text at 402-350-5728 or via email at meritandmidge@gmail.com. Do not assume that your request has been approved until you receive confirmation in writing. Please confirm all scheduled visits during holiday weeks 48 hours prior to departure.

I try my best to accommodate last-minute booking requests especially if you are an established client. However, you need to have a backup plan in place in the event I am not available. Because it takes time to work additional visits into the schedule, there is a late booking fee of $15 for visits scheduled with less than a week’s notice. A $25 fee will be applied to the invoice for visits scheduled with less than 48-hours notice. There is no late booking fee for visits that are added to the end of a trip if you experience a travel delay. Please note that I will not provide services to new clients unless we are able to schedule a meet and greet prior to you leaving town. 

Payment Policy:

For new clients, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total cost of services is due after the meet and greet, once contracts are signed. The remaining 50% is to be paid on the last day of scheduled visits. Existing clients will receive an invoice for the full costs of services on the last day of scheduled visits. All clients will receive an invoice from Square for services that can be paid online with a debit or credit card. Invoices must be paid within five days of receipt, otherwise, a $5.00 late fee will be assessed each day thereafter. We also accept cash paid at the time of the first visit and left in a conspicuous place. Checks will not be accepted. 

Cancellation: 

We charge a cancellation fee equal to the first visit cost if you provide less than 48-hours notice before your services are set to begin. For services booked on a holiday, you will be charged for the holiday as well as the day preceding and following the holiday if you provide less than one week’s notice before your services begin. For example, if you book services for Christmas week and cancel, you will be responsible for the cost of services on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the day after Christmas. Refunds of payments received in the form of cash will not be subject to a processing fee.
